The Challenge

A medical devices client reached out to us with an urgent vacancy that they needed filling. The vacancy had been out for over a month with two recruitment agencies, but the client felt they weren’t receiving the right calibre of CVs and that the role wasn’t getting the attention it should.

The requirement was for a Territory Manager, and the client needed someone with significant experience running a territory, with commercial awareness of medtech expected. They also needed a working knowledge of strategic planning and new business development.

The Solution

The team conducted thorough meetings with the Hiring Manager and HR Director to understand the company, their ideal candidate profile, and the role itself. They also discussed the pain points and challenges with their recruitment so far, and to ascertain what hadn’t been working.

Terms of business were quickly organised, the team advertised the role proactively, and recruited for the role quickly.

The Impact

A successful placement was made in an efficient and timely manner, with the added bonus for the client and candidate that they will be starting in time to attend their annual company meeting as part of their induction.
