The successful candidate will play a crucial role in setting and executing the strategic intent of our client’s diverse product portfolio while seeking new business opportunities.

Company Overview:

Our client is a pharmaceutical provider of niche hospital and orphan drugs in response to unmet patient needs. They are a privately owned, medium-size, specialist organisation with a passion for R&D and product development to provide patients with greater access to the treatments they require. Role Overview:

  • Orchestrate and conduct the sales and marketing activities across multiple brands and products.
  • Successfully achieve sales and profitability targets through making the right investment decisions and portfolio mix.
  • Lead and collaborate with the Commercial & Business Development teams to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and brand strategies for new and existing products, creating industry leading brands.
  • Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by establishing and developing new business relationships.
  • Identify short-term and long-term planning, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure spending and other financial considerations.

To be successful:

  • Strategic, commercial experience in similar role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Business Development successes and proven track record achieving stretching sales and profit targets, managing a mixed portfolio.
  • Experience in building, leading, motivating and develop a diverse multi-functional team.
  • Prior experience with lifecycle management and Product Launch.
  • Market access knowledge and experience with Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices.
